    Harry appears as the guest speaker at the James Lowell Elementary school for the Forman Mills annual Back to School event. He signs autographs and takes several pics with his fans.

    Harry visited the Fightin Phils and met with Ryan Howard, Jimmy Rollins and Shane Victorino on Friday night, July 3rd. He also came out after the 5th inning in the Phanatic's corner to help him dispose of a challenging Mets fan.

    On the night of March 28th 2009, Harry Joe Yorgey showed the boxing world that he is a force to be reckoned with. After a systematic break-down of the then undefeated son of the great Tommy"The Hitman" Hearns, Harry finished him off at the end of the 9th round with a devastating knock-out! BTW, it was the 3rd time Hearns was on the canvas and the only times in his 22 fight career.

    Along with his entrance song artist, Kevin Estes(C.Nidice), Harry made a return visit to his friends over at Children's Baptist Services on 71st & Woodland on April 8th. He promised to comeback with another belt and to share his experiences with the 30 plus children, which he did. The message from Harry, Kevin and former Mayor Wilson Goode were similar: Follow your dreams, make smart decisions, stay in school and choose your friends wisely. Remember, we are here as resources to help you get where you want to go in life, but you will need to ask. Stay the course and don't let anyone shatter your dreams. Thanks to Barry, his staff and all the boys...as it was a great time hanging out and we look forward to doing it again real soon. Please keep in touch with us.

    Harry opens the doors of his gym and welcomes all comers...fans & press. He shows everyone his skills in the ring and then answers questions about the upcoming fight with Hearns. He then spends a few hours signing autographs and taking pictures. Harry makes it a point to let everyone know how appreciative he is to have all the support. He assures us that he will leave it all in the ring.
